The range of locations and fruit varieties increase crop, harvest times and geographic diversity.

Growers will be entitled to significant tax deductions for expenditure in the financial year in which they are incurred.

The Project will operate for approximately 20 years, with a harvest occurring every year, including the first year. The Project will produce high quality fruit, that has immediate access to established domestic and developing overseas markets. A significant feature is the Project will produce stone fruit substantially earlier than the major stone fruit producing regions in southern Australia.

The Industry
The Queensland mango and Australian low chill stone fruit industries were estimated to have a farm gate value totalling $100 million in 2005/2006.

High quality fruit, established domestic and developing overseas markets and the capacity to supply mangoes and stone fruits when fruit from southern Australia is not available, creates a favourable market opportunity.
